The fatal accident involved a 24 year-old man who died after crashing a rental scooter on his way home from work.However, according to a survey of health professionals at Baylor Scott and White in Downtown Dallas, each respondent has seen approximately 1 to 3 scooter accidents a month since Bird and Lime scooters first started showing up in the city. The data from this one hospital reveals that doctors have seen between 160-480 Bird and Lime scooter injuries since the start of the trial run.One doctor at the hospital said, “It’s definitely an uptick. We’ve seen patients flowing in.
