The holidays are a time for joy, family, and reflection. However, for many in Los Angeles, this season hasn’t felt very festive. After the devastating wildfires that tore through parts of our city earlier this year, countless families are still picking up the pieces.
At Omega Law Group Accident & Injury Attorneys, we believe our role in the community goes beyond legal representation. That’s why we partnered with 24LA (Together, For Love, Always) to host a Holiday Toy Drive on December 7.
As local Los Angeles personal injury lawyers, it was our way of standing beside families who have experienced so much loss and showing that even in difficult times, joy and togetherness are still possible.
We Gave Away Over 500 Toys to Local Children
The event was completely free and open to the public, with a focus on families who were directly impacted by this year’s fires. We gave away more than 500 toys to local children, each one hand-selected to fit different ages, needs, and holiday wishes.
But this wasn’t just a toy drop-off. The free event supported more than 2,700 community members where families could enjoy activities, food, music, and moments of comfort and connection. Some of the day’s highlights included:
- King of Christmas Tree & Decoration Giveaway: Families picked up holiday trees and décor to take home.
- Cookie Decorating: A hands-on, sweet-smelling station that had kids smiling from ear to ear.
- “Dear Santa” Letter Writing Station: A moment of magic for children to share their hopes.
- Live Music, Free Food, and Family Portraits: Families enjoyed music, meals, and took photos to make the day memorable.
- Toys for Every Child: Every child walked away with a gift, and hopefully a little more joy.
Watching families laugh, craft, and celebrate—even after all they’ve been through—was the most rewarding part of the day for our entire team.
