Laila Hawatmeh attended Southwestern Law School. During law school, Laila demonstrated her commitment to social justice by clerking at the Children’s Rights Clinic, where she advocated for educational rights of children with special needs, and Bet Tzedek, providing crucial legal assistance to children and families seeking U.S. residency, legal guardianship, and access to public resources.
Prior to joining Omega Law Group, Laila was a dedicated Criminal Defense Attorney. Laila vigorously defended her clients’ rights, specializing in mental health diversion programs to help them rebuild their lives. Laila is fluent in Arabic.
